In the app
Open Seed on iPhone or Android, go to Settings › Delete account, and confirm. Your account is removed right away.
Without the app
Email team@givewithseed.com from the email address on your Seed account, with the subject “Delete my Seed account”. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours, then delete it within 30 days and reply when it is done.
What we delete
- Your account, email, name and sign-in methods.
- Your profile, organization choice, monthly limit and other settings.
- Linked bank and card details, and transactions that are not part of a donation.
- Your bank connections, which we disconnect at Stripe.
What we keep
Records of donations that were prepared or made (amounts, dates, organization, fee, authorization and payment references) are kept privately for seven years for accounting, tax, dispute and legal obligations, then deleted. Payments already processing finish, and settled donations are not refunded. Stripe may keep its own payment records under its policy.
